About Me

Currently I am an assistant professor at the Distributed, Embedded and Intelligent Systems research group at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University, Denmark.

My research interests are in the area of supervisory control synthesis, optimal control for hybrid systems, and model-based systems engineering.

I obtained the Master’s degree (cum laude) in systems and control in 2015 and the PhD degree in mechanical engineering in 2019, both in the research group of Control Systems Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. After obtaining my PhD degree, I was a post-doc at the Distributed, Embedded and Intelligent Systems research group at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University, Denmark.

I am also a part-time control systems expert at Rijkswaterstaat, part of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
