Here is a brief explanation of the examples. In the second row of the table: The LENO LAML source (in the first column) represents the source of a set of slides, authored in LAML. LAML is an XML software package for Scheme. The XML source is the corresponding source in XML notation, which is shown here for people who prefer to understand the work in pure XML terms. (The XML sources are not generated nor used in LENO). The primary HTM target document shows the HTML index file of the slide material, ready for browsing. Try to follow some of the links to the slide pages.

In the third row of the table: The derived secondary LAML source is the automatically produced starting point of the comprehensive document. It is also shown as a pure XML source.

In the bottom row of the table: The elaborated LAML secondary source of the comprehensive document contains additional theme-text elements, with text which binds the material together. We also show this document in pure XML notation. The elaborated secondary HTML target shows the HTML index file of the comprehensive material, ready for browsing. Please browse the links in the table.

For additional details, please consult the paper mentioned above.

Real-life examples of LENO teaching materials can be accessed from the table "My slides and notes about programming" at http://people.cs.aau.dk/~normark/

If your browser will not present files with 'laml', 'leno', or 'scm' extensions you should disable any special handling of these extensions on your system. In that way they are treated as pure text files.
